Other Designs

Enterprise

Aetion, IDX Broker, Oracle Infinity, Salesforce, and NIC Gov2Go are all enterprise applications that I have either led design from the ground up on, or in some part led feature enhancements.

Platforms

Aetion, NIC Gov2Go, and IDX Broker are platforms where I led data rich design efforts within a larger, cross-functional team. These products possess an end-user (agent persona/ citizen persona) and an admin user experience (admin persona) that are tied together to fulfill common objectives, but with different user types.

Oracle Infinity - OMC

During my time with Oracle, I was design lead for the Oracle Infinity project (Analytics). My role was two-fold: first my objective was to take a product acquisition (Webtrends) and convert it to match Oracle requirements, both from a UI/ design system perspective, as well as a branding perspective. Second, to work with the broader cross-functional product team to explore ways to design better UX features that would simplify complex tasks.

Oracle infinity is an analytics platform that is used to provide real-time insights into customer behavior for a variety of organizations. The following screens display a scenario analysis — displayed as a hybrid experience. The end-user, typically an analyst (marketing, financial, etc.) will setup a scenario, or funnel, that will provide them with better insight so that they can make informed decisions.

Oracle Analytics - Scenario analysis (funnel)

This shows a three step funnel where the end-user (marketing professional or analyst) can see where the behavior is dropping off. From this insight, decisions can be made .

Oracle Analytics - scenario analysis with overlay to display “Exits” from the scenario

Overlay allows the user to interrogate the funnel to hone in on key areas of interests. The visual design uses a purposeful use of color, meaningful iconography, and intuitive, consistent interactions that allow the user to know where to go, and what to do next.

Salesforce - Dreamforce (turnstile)

I collaborated with a small product and engineering team as lead product designer. This experience is for a turn-style (method for rapidly validating employees’ vaccine status for entry to an office) and is one part of a larger experience within Salesforce, Dreamforce — Vaccine Cloud. This is provided to organizations to implement within their current Salesforce platform.

The experience has the user approach the turnstile, with phone ready. The user will load their SMART Card (e.g. California state issued) and place it as described on the turnstile. The system will detect the QR Code located on the SMART Card application, locate the user’s data, and will provide the proper feedback to the user. This design was intended to be leveraged very quickly, anticipating large lines that needed quick call and response —> the user places the phone forward, the system responds appropriately.
